There is a lot happening at the Withee Library this October, and we hope you can join us for some of these great activities!

Lego Club, which meets the first Friday of every month, will meet in October on the 7th from 3:30 to 5:30 pm.  Join us for a lively afternoon of creativity and building with Legos.  There will be snacks, refreshments, and an IPad with a stop-motion app available for use, if any of the participants are interested in making a Lego movie!

After everyone has finished their creations, pictures will be taken and posted to Facebook, so they can show and share their creations even after all the Legos are packed up til the next event.

The library will also be hosting a Halloween craft program where participants can come make a magic wand of their own design or Halloween mask!  Please join us October 14th 3:30-6:00 pm at the Withee Public Library to design and create your own magic wand or Halloween mask while listening to spooky ambiance music.  We hope to see you all there!

Our October storytime will be Saturday, October 15th from 10:30 to 11:30 am.  During the “Get Ready, Get Set, Go: Readers come in first” storytime our children’s librarian Janice Arndt will read to the kids, lead them in fun activities, and provide a snack.  All attendees will learn about traffic safety, safety while walking, and safety while riding bikes, and there will be a scavenger hunt to see who can discover the most awards sitting around the library.  We hope you will join us for the fun!

The library will also be open 10 am to 5 pm on Halloween, and treats will be available for anyone who comes to the library in their Halloween costumes.

If you have any questions, please stop by the library or call us at 715-229-2010.  We look forward to seeing you at the library!
